October 13, 2006, Newsletter Issue #28: Protection Alarm

Tip of the Week

If you're using a secure digital card and a digital card reader, don't be surprised if your card reader sometimes tells you that the card is "protected" and photos cannot be transfered or deleted. This is no big deal. SD cards have little moveable sliders on them. Move the slider up and the card is protected. Move it down and the card is unprotected. Just pull the card out of the reader, look at the slider, and then move it down, if it is in the up position.
